the family was trying to decide what movie to go see and eddy starts mumbling under breath, "made me go see ghost of girlfriends past. worst. movie. ever."

and i laugh so he sits up all excited, "Okay, it's all about sex.

sex. sex. sex."

annalise says in the background "i never would have taken him to see it if i knew it was all about sex!"

eddy reenacts the movie for us.

"you wanna do it now? come on lets go.
how bout now? right now!

Emma Taylor John

this morning, every excitedly, my mom called me to the (nasty, dirty) basement. she and dad are cleaning it just in case someone at the grad party wanders down there, which is unlikely...while organizing some files or something she came across the lists of names they thought of calling me before i was born. she and dad used to sit in church and switch up the combinations. i think it is really cute that they saved the lists after all these years!

turns out rachel johanna was only the sixth choice.

number one was maren johanna, which i actually like.
i also like number four, emma taylor. but do i look like an emma? i don't think so. i love the name emma but i think of it as a more timid, sweet girls name.

i just photoshopped my ex out of my life.

we could call it symbolic for completely moving on or something but i did that already.really i just did this because eliza said i should and i wanted to prove that i could.

and a new blog design. i guess it's just me feeling more sure of the path i'm on + some frustration + a little leftover bitterness haha. or it's just pretty and funny.

mixed feelings...

one of my all time favorite movies is Donnie Darko...if you haven't seen it YOU FAIL.

they are coming out with a sequel this year about his little sister S. Darko.
this could also be EPIC fail.
but it is written by the same guy so maybe not.
part of me is jumping up and down like a crazy fan girl and the other part of me is slapping that part and telling it to calm down the movie is going to suck.
