Do I really have to say more about me?
I do?
ummm... okay.
I am 22 and a recent graduate of the University of Utah, where I received a B.F.A. with an emphasis in Photography/Digital Imaging. I have loved photography since high school and I have loved art all my life. Both of my parents are artistic in their own ways and so with all those genes there was no way to avoid it (except my sister isn't artsy so she somehow managed it). Okay so I take it back, there must have been away to avoid it but little embryonic me did not know how. Or maybe I did know and just didn't want to. I'm not complaining. I love art-- like I said.
So I owe my artistic ways to my father who is artistic with his words and to my mother who used to sharpen crayons and then melt the shavings in a folded piece of paper with an iron when I was a kid.
(man I loved doing that... I need to go find some crayons).
I am constantly working on my art, even if it is just in my head.
I would have to say that my art is usually very emotional and personal. I like there to be a meaning behind what I do. It doesn't always have to be deep but there is always a little bit of me in everything I produce.
In addition to taking photos I love to paint, sketch, draw, write, craft, journal, color in coloring books...
Other than art I love my family, my boyfriend, my friends, baking, practicing yoga, being vegetarian, soaking up the sun, reading, and listening to music.
Writing about ones self is kinda weird. How does one adequately explain one's awesomeness without sounding vain? You should just go look at my portfolio now :)
